Artist Statement

Myths date back to ancient times.  No one knows where myths started but half of the people in the world has heard about “Myth of Greek & Roman”.  When I was young, I had very much interest in myths and I naturally became curious of their figures. What can I find from curiosity? Using needles and many colorful threads to stitch on the fabric and to try imagining their looks on the “Mask” to be close to them.  If they had a figure perhaps they will look like this.  Sometimes beautiful and dignified, sometimes mysterious. I think myths come from human’s wish, desire and desperation.
